Building!
It's building time again here in Uganda, at Kyetume Church of Uganda School the Parents and Love in Action have combined to start building 2 classrooms and an office for the Head Teacher. Love in Action gives the school a sum of money each term instead of school fees and they have saved this for 3 terms to enable building to start.
We are also building at Kasaka, a double classroom and another teachers room. Additionally the farm house is being refurbished.
Thanks to all those who help with these projects

Friday 29th August! We have just heard that 2 of our staff, Regina and Penny have received bursaries towards their University Studies. Penny (Social Worker) has been granted 20% by the goverment and Regina (Trainee Social Worker) 50% by the university. This means that Penny can now work towards a degree and Regina, a Diploma in Social Work.
Karisa Francis, who was one of the first students to take his O Level from Kyetume Parents Secondary School, and who we supported through his A Levels has received a full government grant for a Diploma in Secondary School Teaching.
Well done to all. Write Comment (0 comments) |

We are building again at Christ's Embassy School Kasaka! Thanks to the generosity of Kingsland Church, Lexden, and Kingsland Church, Gosbecks we are able to build 2 more classrooms. This means that we will have sufficient classrooms for Pirimary 1 to Primary 6.
